In America , the LPGA is once more debating the morals and reputation of the game thanks to one player's off-key approach to golf clothing. Christina Kim likes to break the rules.

Too tight golf clothing

Born in California in 1984, her parents were tennis players in Korea who trained their daughter in golf because it was cheaper than training in tennis. Her parents left Korea in 1981 to follow the American dream and were eager for her to succeed. Her father is also her coach and manager, and Korea has a very male dominated culture. Perhaps than it is surprising that Kim is attracting attention for her how she wears her golf clothing � too tight � and her wild attitude.

Not be judged

Kim defended the fact she keeps a secret diary: �There are certain parts of my life that I want to keep secret,� she told Golf Digest magazine. �No, I don't lead a double life where I'm a hooker. I just want to have my own life and express my feelings and not be judged by it.�

But her style, golf clothing and attitude are leaving the LPGA wondering if she's the best or the wackiest thing to happen to the institution.

Golf shoes or stilettos

According to Golf Digest, at one golf club Kim was clearly breaking the rules when it came to golf clothing, swapping her spiked golf shoes for Manolo Blahnik stilettos and a tightly fitting striped sleeveless polo shirt. She even walked across the green puncturing it with her heels. Kim is certainly re-defining the male, stuffy image of golf clothing and fashion. She bought the designer clothes after winning her first LPGA tournament. Yet her rebellious approach to golf clothing and rules betrays the fact she is an accomplished and exciting player.

Traditional golf clothing

Kim's personality however goes against the usual quietly dull image of a golfer donned in bland golf clothing. She loves attention, pleasure and clothes and bizarrely, inappropriate jokes. Traditional golf clothing is out the window for Kim. She once told Golf Digest magazine that wearing the white shirt and khaki pants combo so beloved by golfers - almost the unofficial uniform for golf clothing - her �worst fashion mistake.�
