Rookie Bradley wins Bryn Nelson Championship

Rookie Keegan Bradley beat Ryan Palmer in a play-off to win the Bryn Nelson Championship at the TPC Four Seasons, Texas.

The 24 year finished with a two under 68 to become the clubhouse leader at three under 277 for the tournament.  In winds of 35 mph, he was one of only nine golfers to have an under par round on the final day.

His total was matched an hour later by Ryan Palmer after he made a birdie at the 18th to force the play-off.

At the par 5 18th, Bradley sunk a 2 foot putt for par, while Palmers approach found the water and he ended up making a bogey.

"I am so happy. I can't believe this just happened," said Bradley.

"This is just a dream come true. I've been waiting for this my whole life."

Bradley is the nephew of the LPGA tour legend Pat Bradley, whose 31 victories included six majors

It is Bradley’s first PGA Tour title and means he will earn invitations to both the WGC-Bridgestone and the PGA Championship.

He is the fourth rookie to win this year, following in the steps of Jhonattan Vegas (Bob Hope Classic), Charl Schwartzel (The Masters) and Brendan Steele (Valero Texas Open)
