32 year old Swede Carl Pettersson has won the RBC Canada Golf Open.

After opening rounds 71 and 68, Pettersson only made the cut by 1 stroke, but then went on to make a tournament record in his third round 60.

He finished his final round, 3 under 67 to beat Dean Wilson by one stroke. He finished on 14 under 266 for the Tournament.

Wilson playing on a sponsor exemption, started the final day with a four stroke lead, after his first three rounds of 65, but shot a final round of 72 .

Pettersson was six shots behind Wilson after seven holes, and four back with seven still to play. He started to turn the game around on the 13th, when he made a 15 foot birdie putt to get within one shot. He then took the lead on the 14th with a 25 foot putt, when Wilson bogeyed after missing a 15 foot putt.

Pettersson then birdied the 15th, parred the 16 and 17th and bogeyed the 18th

"I still can't believe I won the tournament," Peterson said "I know it's difficult to shoot another low one after a round like that, so I was just trying to downplay it. I just tried to stay calm and (said), `Whatever happens today, happens.'"
