Spain's Garcia content to rotate caddies

Despite his victory at the Wyndham Championship on Monday, a win that also meant he is now assured of a place in Europe's Ryder Cup team, Sergio Garcia is no closer to finding a permanent man for the bags.

In North Carolina, the Spaniard used David Faircloth, a local caddie from a nearby golf club, while for the FedEx Cup opener at The Barclays, Garcia will use Wayne Richards who'll usually be found on CBS.

''He's not a professional caddie, but I don't feel like I need that at the moment,'' Garcia said.

And Richards, who has been friends with Garcia for five years, is certainly up for the challenge.

"I'm nervous, but I'm going to be excited at the same time," Richardson said. "My game plan is to carry the bag and do what the boss says."

Will Richards be continuing the role at Medinah? Unlikely. But will he continue to pick local bagmen?

''No. I'll see who I use,'' he said, dismissing the question. ''I'm probably just going to do my own thing until the end of the year, and then at the end of the year I'll decide what's best for me.''
